How we handle your data.

Information we collect

We collect data in three ways:

• Information you give us. When you complete the fit check or email the studio, we receive your name, email address, and any notes or project details you choose to include.
• Scheduling information. When you book a call, the time you select and the contact details you provide are handled through our scheduling provider, Cal.com.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our host records standard server logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. Loading the site also requests fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address as part of that request.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not use cookies for marketing or profiling.

How we use it

The information above is used only to:

• assess whether a project is a good fit for the studio;
• reply to you and arrange a call;
• deliver work and communicate during an engagement; and
• keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run the studio, and only as much as each one needs:

• Cal.com handles call scheduling.
• Our email and hosting providers process messages and serve the site.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project information for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. If you ask us to remove your information sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to a particular use. To make a request, email intake@blackvertex.co and we will respond. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and the people who run them. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear here.
